Workspaces
A workspace is the saved layout of the window: up to eight panes, each holding a view of the open file. The built-in pieces are a viewport, a palette strip, a color rose, file fields, and a chart. Edit workspace changes the layout. Done writes it. Cancel puts the last saved layout back.
Image files
Image files and short animations open directly. That includes PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, APNG, BMP, TGA, TIFF, PSD, HDR, PIC, PNM, ORA, KRA, Aseprite, Farbfeld, and QOI.
Color
The palette strip is the colors pulled from the open file. The rose is that same palette drawn as wedges, so a shift in hue or lightness is visible beside it.
